About the Emergency Community Fund
Right now, many families in our community are navigating increasingly difficult circumstances, and the need for stability and support is urgent. Many families are facing unexpected financial strain, limited access to resources, and heightened stress, fear, and disruption in their daily lives.
The Emergency Community Fund provides immediate financial support to families facing sudden hardship and uncertainty. This fund exists to respond quickly and directly to urgent needs.
It provides support for essential expenses like rent, utilities, and other basic needs. These resources help families remain in their homes, maintain stability, and focus on caring for their children during an incredibly challenging time.
Requests come through trusted school district partners who help identify families experiencing temporary hardship.
This effort was made possible through partnership with the greater Mounds View Schools community, who saw the need firsthand and took action. Every donation goes directly toward helping families in our community stay safe, supported, and secure.
Your support allows us to respond in real time and stand alongside families when they need it most.
For those who prefer to give by check, donations may be mailed to Quincy House. Please include ‘Community Emergency Fund’ in the memo so it is directed correctly. This also helps reduce processing fees so more of your gift goes directly to families.
All donations to the Emergency Fund are tax deductible. A year-end contribution statement will be provided for donors who include their contact information (name, email, and/or mailing address) when making a gift.
Donations can also be sent via Venmo to @QH_Darnell_Baker. Please include “Community Emergency Fund” in the note.
